grant made by the government to an inventor which excludes others from
making, using and/or selling his invention for a specific number of years.

is a Trademark?
Any
word, name or symbol (or any combination thereof) that is adopted and used
by a company or individual to identify his goods and distinguish them from
those manufactured or sold by others.
What
is a Copyright?
A
right granted by statute to the author or originator of pertain literary or
artistic works
whereby he is given the sole and exclusive privilege, for a limited period
of time, of
making multiple copies of the same and of publishing and selling them.
